Top Three Reasons I Love Clermont:

• There are so many lakes!  Whether you'd prefer to swim, boat, fish, jetski, paddle board, whatever- Clermont has lovely lakes and many areas you can check out, being that the lakes are connected in a chain.  Waterfront Park in the former Jaycee Beach area on Lake Minneola is a fun place to take the family to splash around if you're looking for a swimming hole for the grandkids.  I also love Lake Louisa State Park , it's beautiful, wild, and usually not too crowded.  Keep your sandals handy though, that sand sure gets hot!
• There are events going all the time.  All of Lake County has (maybe more than its share! of)  festivals, art shows, craft shows, etc.  Pig on the Pond is an annual tradition. Clermont boasts it's own winery, Lakeridge Winery- they just had their 21 Annual Harvest and Grape Stomp this weekend.  Coming up is Clermont's Red White and Boom Independence Day Celebration. 
• It's close to Orlando, without being IN Orlando.
